What exactly is The Giraffe Shed?
We’re based on a legit working farm, so there are only so many weddings we can host each year. Our season runs from May to September, and those limited spaces get booked up pretty damn fast!
You can invite up to 100 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 120 for the evening reception. Every wedding we host includes exclusive use of the venue, an indoor bar with late licence, outside bar, tables, benches and chairs, glass ware, fire pits and our snuggly cosy shepherd hut all to yourselves by our lake. Our Trailer Park accommodation is also here for you (we can sleep 18 people on site)

Our Trailer Park - converted shipping containers all uniquely designed. We also have a beautiful separate spacious prep area that you can use to get ready! Rooms are £100 per room per night. Breakfast Hamper, pastries and towels included.
The Giraffe Shed is a location chameleon. Come for the weekend, or just for a day, create your own mini festival wedding, or channel stripped-back industrial vibes. It’s a child-friendly, pet-friendly, disabled access + all little details considered.
The majority of our customers book The Giraffe Shed for full weekend weddings. That means three days, Friday-Sunday, for you to make the venue yours, and enjoy it to the max!
We’ve also added micro-wedding packages to our menu, for those of you with busier schedules, more modest visions, or planning your wedding on a budget.
Here’s what you get
(and a bit of what you don’t)
You’ll get exclusive use of the full venue from Friday-Sunday. That includes all our venue spaces (more info on those here), two bars, your private getting ready space, your room for 2 nights in the room of your choice. Wedding planning + co-ordination throughout.
When it comes to the practicalities, tables and benches/chairs are provided too, and the toilet situation includes facilities in The Shed and accommodation (find out more in our FAQs).
Catering and tableware isn’t provided in your hire fee, but we’ve got a whole list of amazing suppliers who’ll be more than happy to help with all your foodie needs. And of course, you can DIY every aspect of your wedding and bring it all with you too.
Classic Full Weekend! 🦒
→ The Rough Schedule
🦒 FRIDAY → planning, prepping, primping. You, your squad, and your suppliers will have full site access for set-up. Neilo + Han will be around all day to help.
🦒 SATURDAY → your big day, exactly as you want it, down to the very last decoration. Han + Neilo will coordinate the day to make sure everything runs smoothly with your room turnarounds and your schedule. The Giraffe Shed will also run the bar.
🦒 SUNDAY → time to clear up! We will be about to help with this too!
* of course you don't have to stick to the above - the venue is yours for the weekend, so if you have multiple ceremonies or a cultural ceremony, the space can be used to fit your needs.
