Can we decorate the space ourselves?

Yes, the space is yours for the whole hire time! You can invite friends and family to help you out, or hire a stylist. We are always on site to help out too.

Do you have an on-site carpark?

Yes, we have a private on-site carpark where cars can be safely left overnight.

Is it accessible to buses?

Yes!

Do we need to hire glassware?

We have glasses behind the bar for your drink package (post ceremony drinks) and anyone who uses the bar. If you plan on serving wine with the meal you will need to hire glassware for your tables.

Can guests use cards at the bar?

Yes, cards and cash can be used at the bar. Any guests using local taxi companies should bring cash.

Do you have a knife for cutting cake?

Yes!

Do we need to hire crockery?

Yes. Talk to your caterers to see if they supply crockery – if not we’ve got some great recommendations: Tipples Bar, Event Hire UK, Chic Event Hire and Jaspers Hire.

Do you have an outdoor covered area?

Yes! The Black Box is a magical outdoor covered bar serving your every need, from arrival drinks to cheeky post-dinner cocktails.

Do you charge corkage? How much booze can we bring?

Corkage is £6 per bottle of wine. We do have limitations, we can talk you through this.

How many people can we seat at each table?

Each table seats eight, or 10 if children are seated at the table too.

Is the bar open all day? What time is last orders?

Our bar is only closed during your ceremony. Last orders is at 12 midnight.

What drinks do you stock in your on-site bars?

Our bar is always stocked with lots of your faves! We especially try to keep it well stocked with lovely Welsh products too.

What happens if we need to postpone our wedding?

If your wedding has to be postponed due to circumstance out of your control and the wedding is legally unable to go ahead, you can postpone for free to another date (dependent on availability).

Are there any big no-nos at The Giraffe Shed?

We don’t really have many no-no’s apart from no fire works (but sparklers are fine), no balloons and confetti must be biodegradable.

Are you open to hosting Cultural Ceremonies?

Absolutely, let us know what it entails and we'd be happy to adapt our space in any way possible.

Do we HAVE to buy a drinks package?

No, but we do recommend it! Our included drinks packages keep all of your guests together and helps your drink reception run smoothly without clogging up the bar.

Do you offer on site glamping?

No, we have our amazing onsite accommodation that sleeps up to 18 people and there is lots of local accommodation too, so your guests won't struggle to find a bed for the night.
