We’re so excited to be hosting this brilliant wedding photography workshop and education day – we love what Love For All is about, and are honoured to have been chosen to host such an important event. Plus, we can’t wait to see the delectable, disruptive deliciousness that comes out of it…
What is Love For All?
Love For All is an inclusivity workshop for wedding professionals, focussed particularly on photographers and filmmakers, run by the wonderful Steph from Stephanie Dreams Photography
The morning is full of educational seminars that are a great way to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community, and how to be more inclusive within the wedding industry. These include talks from experts as well as those with lived experience, and provide a safe space to ask questions and learn.
Then in the afternoon, it’s time for the wedding photography workshop portion: a chance to capture gorgeous content and build your portfolio with imagery that will represent the kind of love that is so often underrepresented! This section of the wedding photography workshop works like a styled shoot on steroids, with 2 real-life couples going through the motions of a wedding day with incredible styling. Both decor and details have been covered, including the ceremony, cake, floristry and stationery!
And while it’s not just for togs – all suppliers are welcome at Love For All – in addition, head photographer Stephanie Large will be on hand to help with posing, lens choices and shot set-ups, as well as personal cheerleading.
Why is this wedding photography workshop so important?
“The workshop came about from the lack of knowledge as well as representation within the wedding industry, as cis-het, white and skinny is the norm of everything we see.” founder Steph explains. “Being LGBTQ+ and planning a wedding can be very hard, because you don’t see yourself, things are presumed about your relationship and the understanding of different love just isn’t there. Love For All is here to help suppliers do better, learn more in a safe space, and be able to capture real Queer couples.”
